Generally, teeth start to grow when most of people achieve age of 9 months. We can see most of baby of nice and cute teeth. When age achieve of 5 years, most kids start to consume junk food. As we know, junk food made teeth become unhealthy. From that age, most kids start to learn how to brush teeth and it’s hard for us to make them brush teeth as habit.

Usually, good mouth reflects the personality of good people. It’s give good impression to others if we have nice teeth. Normal bad breath also reflects to our personality compare to others that have bad smell of their breath. All individual encourage to taking care their teeth to get nice breath.

Bad food is one of the reasons of bad teeth because bit of food that we consume will left crevice between of the teeth and become bacteria. The bacteria will produce the plaque of teeth. The plaque is behind the reason of gum and teeth pain.

Nowadays, younger people prefer snacks over heavier food. There are varieties of snacks available in our daily life to be consumed. One of the Malaysian favorite’s snacks is the tarik that can be easily get in mamak or warung. It’s seemed hard to separate the tarik from Malaysian daily life as it consumed day and night.

One of the reason we enjoy snack is leisure time when watching football and movie and television. So, good suggestion available is get some snacks that is healthier or less sweeten. Good example should be salad as it easy to be done and contains a lot of vitamins. Steamed pau or popiah basah also another good example as its less oily compared to fried puff or fried popiah.

These activities must be properly plan. As the hungry strikes, normally, we will less forget about our plan to get healthier food. Or sometimes, when our friends bring a lot of fried banana and ask to eat together, it’s hard to resists it. One good plan, is always eat our daily routine dinner or lunch accordingly.  It’s will help ourselves to fell hunger unnecessarily.

One good example is, always have fruit around us as doctor suggest, it’s good to consume fruit better than junk snacks food.

Conclusion, excessively consume bad snacks food should be avoided. Sweet beverage such as coke should be replace with fruit juice. Fried food replace with steamed food. It’s good to have snacks that give nutrients’ to our body such as salad or corn on cob in our daily life.

Important for pregnant women to vary their food to get all the nutritional needs of mothers and babies. Food to be eaten during pregnancy are:

* Fruits and vegetables – the target for eating five servings a day, including a snack, juice and salad.

* Starchy foods – bread, rice, pasta, potatoes. Plenty of whole grains (Wheat, whole grain)

* High protein foods – meat, poultry, fish, eggs, legumes (soybeans). Plenty to eat fish at least two times a week.

* High-calcium foods – milk, yoghurt, cheese.
* High-fiber foods – Make vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes as a favorite food because it can prevent constipation.

Drink plenty of water and avoid fatty and sugary foods such as cakes and chocolates as they cause excessive weight gain and risk of developing diabetes (gestational diabetes mellitus).
