Birth Control and Perimenopause: When Do I Stop Taking the Pill?
Perimenopause is the period that comes four or five years before the menopause. This is the time you need to be more careful. It is common that your body starts reacting differently in this time.

It is better to switch from pills intake to low dose birth control during perimenopause. There are some pills available with minimum amount of estrogen content which will help in that time.
This low dosage pills are recommended to have a regular period at the final stage. Nuva ring is the vaginal ring which has low estrogen content and is used once a month. It is advised to have a proper diet by this time.
